like the other reviewer said it does burn your neck if you haven’t gotten used to it. but i have found that true for razor blades as well for me. Whats great about this shaver is that it runs on a cord. some of these shavers will only run on batteries that are charged. this has no batteries to die on you and will only work with a cord. if you ever have taken the blades off one of these you see it really is only a little motor that spins some blades. the real technology and expense to one of these things in my opinion is the blades. so that is what you really are paying for so it is a bargain. if you bought the blades separate you would pay more than the price of the shaver.
for me i only shave once a week and like the fact that it works great on my long neck hairs. it also shaves my head good. for me rotary is the only way to go.
the flip up trimmer works but you kind of have to keep your thumb pressure on it compared to others i have used. just something to get used to. Because it is a corded shaver you really cant use it in the shower like others but i am sure i will get a longer life with it as my last battery powered one which only problem was the batteries died after about 2 years.
remington name is not as ritzy as bruan or norelco but remember it is just a little motor spinning some blades, nothing magical about these. and the blades cost more than this unit.
