I am shocked. You can definitely feel it, but it’s not painful at all on my legs. Definitely no worse than using a slightly dull razor. I am sure using it on other areas of my body will probably be more painful, but on my legs it was fine. I think the key is making sure your hair is shortish. Oh, and I have course, dark, thick hair. Waxing and sugaring are painful.

My only criticism is that it has to be plugged in to use- I think for the price paid it should be rechargeable. That’s why it’s four stars and not five .
